January 16--More than two-thousand people came
out this morning to remember the life of slain Cowley College
student Jodi Sanderholm.

The 19-year-old's body was found last week after four days of
searching.

The Reverend Charles Grant of First United Methodist Church in
Arkansas City told mourners that the community had gone through the
ordeal together.

Her family and friends remember most her smile. She was a member
of the junior college dance team. And her pastor says she lit up
the dance line with her grin.

During the days she was missing, her sister, Jennifer Mayfield,
gave birth to a daughter in the Kansas City suburb of Blue Springs.

Her sister and the baby attended the memorial.

Her pastor says that the family members are convinced the spirit
of Jodi lives on in the baby.
