Nearly 150 employees from T-Mobile’s “Huddle Up” program worked together to give Wichita’s Holy Savior Catholic Academy a much-needed makeover.

One aspect of the Huddle Up program is geared toward addressing the need for high-quality after school programs for kids.

The volunteers created an after-school space with computers, books and games, an outdoor courtyard, a baseball field and a new basketball court.

“We had about two or three hundred people wanting to volunteer for this. These 150 are very lucky today,” said T-Mobile’s Bill Jackson.

The Huddle Up program is in its fourth year and has transformed over 40 after school programs nationwide.
