For the record, my comments were not directed at Mr. Covey or his family. They were directed at the person named "Anonymous" that posted at 2:20 on 7/7. My daughter and one of Andy's daughters were great friends and our whole family hurts for them. My comments were directed toward the coward that won't leave a name other than Anonymous, before offering stupid speculation about what happened. Go back and read the post...that was the first sentence. Sorry for the confusion, if it existed.
ABAKE I don't know what kind of God you supposely serve, but my God and Savior would never approve of the type of remarks you have made. It appears that you need to be praying for yourself with the attitude you possess. As for my immediate family and extended family we have plenty of sincere christians praying for us, you save your prayers for yourself you need them more than we do. My brother was filled with love that overflowed, and always concerned about others around him. As for this accident, I guess I will just have to wait till I get to heaven to hear the story from the horses' mouth. I want to thank everyone in Kansas that assisted with his care at the hospital, friends and neighbors from the community that reached out to us with kind words during this difficult time-you will never be forgotten. God Bless You All.

well all is known I have been in the family for over three years.The few times I got to meet Andy he was a nice careing respectful man.My prayers are with the family.But forever who ABAKE from El Dorado, ks. Andy was a very loving, caring and hard working father, son, and brother. He was such a great example for any man to be as a father and brother. He loved his 3 precious daughters, family and friends. I want to thank all of the ones that he worked with and took care of him while he was living in Kansas. You are all an extended family to ours. I was so glad to hear and meet you all. It meant the world to our family. We hated to let him go but we know now that my dad and him are watching over us. I don't know where you get off by signing anomously and then downing my brother who loved life and his girls so much. He lived each day for those girls. I will miss getting the phone calls and hearing "it will be okay, Lil' sis."
My baby brother was a hard working, caring, and loving father and brother. I will miss his calls and texts every week. My family is very heartbroken over this tragedy. People need to keep their mouths shut unless they know the truth. The only ones that know the truth is Andy and God. Our dad used to tell us if you did not have anything nice to say then keep your mouth shut. My family lives by that motto. It is not easy to put your baby brother to rest before you. Andy was loved by so many and I want to thank all of his family in Kansas for taking such good care of him and the girls. Please continue to take care of the girls while their daddy and grandpa are watching over them from heaven. Thanks so much. We love and miss you little brother.
I will never forget Andy He was a wonderful person and the community and especially lost some one very special. This is just a reminder to live every day to its fullest and tell people how you truly fear I will never have a chance to tell him how much he ment to me and and my family God Bless his girls may he give them peace and God be with his wonderful family in Oklahoma.

Amanda, we are not all like the person "wanting to think it was something else". No matter the reason for this accident, he was your father and he still lives on in your heart. Some people just want to find the bad in others, but do not listen and let it hurt you more, just move on and remember your father with a smile and remember, he is always with you in your heart.
