This is horrible. But why does this keep happening? you cant let young children ride tractors, riding mowers, forklifts, etc. Hasn't there been a few cases earlier this year? My thoughts are with the family.

I am sadden to hear of this horrible accident. May God be with this family at such a sad time. I am especially praying for this father. Please understand this wasn't your fault. It was an accident. We pray that God will somehow bring some kind of peace to help your hearts heal.

I feel for the father. But as a qualified forklift operator I know that you are not to haul any passengers at any time while operating a lift truck. This needs to be a lesson to all people who read this article.

my thoughts and prayers go to the family of this child. What a horrible way to lose a child at such a young age.the father must be going through such pain, as well as the mother. Outside of the fact, what was a small child doing on a forklife. We are here to protect them not to put them in the way of potential harm. Now that father will have to live with this horrible accident for the rest of his life.We all make some type of misjudgment at some time in our life, and if it is a bad one we can't take it back.May the child rest in peace.

I am so sad for this family, because I know that this Dad was probably trying to bond with his son, and loved him. I will pray for the Lord to help you though this terrible time...I am so sorry.
