Wichita Man Reports Marijuana Stolen
December 8 - Wichita Police got an unusual call for help overnight when a man reported his marijuana had been stolen. Officers say Christopher K. Rather reported that he'd just been robbed of one pound of marijuana at gunpoint.
He told officers that he'd arranged to sell it to the suspect, but the man pulled out a sawed off shotgun, took the drugs and ran. The man got away with $11,000 worth of marijuana.
Police searched Rather and found more drugs so they arrested him. The man who stole the drugs is still at large.
