Recent severe storms that moved through Reno County are causing flooding concerns and forcing evacuations.

Twenty-one children attending the Kansas Bible School at Mitchell School were rescued Thursday after heavy rains caused flooding..

Reno County fire crews used ropes to help the children walk through the flood waters to safety.

The kids were relocated to the school's main campus a mile away. No one was injured during the rescue.

The children have been attending bible school since Sunday, and come from all across the state.
