Park City thinks the water they sell is a fine wine! 50 dollars a month..WOW!

This is a bunch of crap! Why would they do this when they know people are getting laid off and money is a tight thing!? My family and i are struggling to get by, and now our water bill is going to be higher? Sheesh. How awful.

Keep sucking us dry. We're damn near broke now. Why don't you fine the hell out of people overwatering their lawns via automatic irrigation systems? The day after it rains.

Try living in Mulvane! Water is like gold here and the sewer rates are ridiculous! Did I mention the electric rates here are out the roof as well?!!

The rate increase proposed will have some people cutting back even more, and if we have another rainy summer and fall, well you can see that the proposed increase will just cause them to want to increase it even more. So it's not going to make a hill of beans one way or the other if we conserve. They are going to get their increases, just like Westar!

This is rediculous. I already pay upwards of $28. a month as it is, and I watch my water usage. Why are all the utilities hitting us when we're scraping to get by? I guess it could be worse though, Park City charges a $50. minimum per month for water, regardless of how much you use.

Exellent time to do it. While we're all broke.

"While many won't support the rate hike, others say the upside is it might make people think more about just how much water they are using." Don't you see? It doesn't matter how much water we use. Now they are saying that we aren't using enough! The city will always come up with more excuses to take more of our money. Government never has to live on less. It's really easy to spend other people's money, isn't it?
