Brian Quigley is frustrated over not being able to use his home's driveway on Edgemoor just south of Kellogg. For him, road construction there can't be finished soon enough. "It's been six weeks now, six weeks without a driveway, six weeks with finding somewhere else to park or driving up through my neighbors yards", said Quigley.
Quigley admits up til this week he drove through his neighbor's yards to get to his house, neighbors also without driveway access. But neighbors complained to police, and officers told Quigley to stop it.
Wichita's special projects engineer says there's not much that can be done until contractors finish the curb and gutter work. Carl Gipson says it's difficult to do a construction project of this magnitude without upsetting some people.
