September 26 – The Rolling Stones announcing their opening act as they prepare to come to Wichita.

It's a group few people have probably heard of, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

BRMC, as they are known for short, plays hard driving punk rock music. The group is from Los Angeles and is one of several groups that opens for the Stones.

BRMC formed in 1998 taking the name from Marlon Brando's motorcycle gang in the film 'the wild one.'

Most people we talked to were hoping for a better known group to open for the rolling stones, but at this point, they really don't care.
