Wichita Police Conduct DUI Check Lane on North Side
Police arrested over a dozen drivers for various violations, including DUI.

A DUI check lane in North Wichita netted over a dozen arrests Friday night. The lane was set up by Wichita Police at 13th and Ohio starting at about 11 p.m.
About 100 cars went through the lane. Of those 100 cars, 13 drivers were arrested for various offenses including DUI, possession of drugs, transporting open containers, and driving on a suspended license.
Officers issued 25 other tickets for various traffic violations and say they plan on doing more of these check lanes throughout the holidays.
