A wounded marine from Kansas received a special visitor earlier this week. President Bush visited the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD and was photographed with Lance Corporal John Mevey of Norwich and his mother Jane Cox.

Lance Corporal Mevey is recovering from injuries sustained in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.

This is President Bush's 10th visit to the Naval Medical Center.
