The Long Wait

Two Kansas families are anxiously waiting for their loved ones to come home. Former POW Patrick Miller is still recovering in Kuwait. He is expected to pass through Germany before returning to Washington D.C. Patrick and his wife are invited to dinner with the president April 26.

Sgt. Billy Clark of Wichita is also recovering after a sniper shot him in the arm in Baghdad. His family hopes to have him home by Easter.

Shannon Ayesh can't stop gushing about her brother Billy. For about four months her computer was the closest she could get. Sunday she finally got to hear his voice. Billy is now in Spain where he just had his second forearm surgery.

Shannon says he has pins and plates in his arms and he will need skin grafts. Right now the military is trying to find the best doctor for further reconstructive surgery. Shannon doesn't know if they're going to do it there or send him to Maryland or back to Camp Pendleton.

Clark's wife and two children are waiting for news from California.
