Ford County Casino Decision Expected Friday

The state gaming review board is scheduled to meet in Topeka Friday morning to make a decision on who will manage a state-owned casino in Ford County.
The Kansas Lottery Gaming Facility Review Board had originally planned to make the decision last week, but postponed it wanting more solid information about how two competing applicants are financing their proposals.
The two applicants in Ford County are Butler National Service Corp. and Dodge City Resort and Gaming.
Their officials tried to reassure the review board last Friday that they had adequate financing for their projects, but board members still weren't certain.
