A state review board postpones a decision on who will manage a state-owned casino in Ford County.

Members of the Lottery Gaming Facility Review Board say they wanted more solid information about how two competing applicants are financing their proposals. The board had planned to decide Friday but put the decision off a week.

The two applicants in Ford County are Butler National Service Corp. and Dodge City Resort and Gaming.

Their officials tried to reassure the review board Thursday that they had adequate financing for their projects, but board members still weren't certain.

The review board also planned to pick one of three applicants for a casino in Wyandotte County. They are Legends Sun, Golden Gaming Inc. and Kansas Entertainment, which involves Kansas Speedway.
