A locomotive train traveling from Wichita
to Fort Worth, Texas, slammed into a propane tanker truck in
north-central Oklahoma today.

The crash triggered a huge explosion that killed two people and
injured a third.

The injured truck driver was flown by medical helicopter to Via
Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis in Wichita with
third-degree burns over at least 50 percent of his body.

Union Pacific spokeswoman Raquel Espinoza-Williams says the
truck was on the train tracks when the locomotive slammed into it.

I work for the railroad and have seen this type of accident before. All this could have been prevented if people would actually pay attention around railroad crossings. People run infront of trains all the time and then complain that trains go so slow through wichita. . .we do it for your safety. People need to wake up and pay attention, these railroad brothers are gone because someone had their head up their. . .

Im sure if there was any issue with the gas plant the story would be on here. If anything I am sure they were evacuated for safety.

The semi did hit a train. The story is corrected. Thanks

you need to correct the story. A semi filled with propane did not collide with another semi. If it did then the headline is wrong because there is nothing in this story about a train.
