Garden City Girl Makes Unusual Birthday Request
Many kids have a birthday wish a mile long. But one Kansas girl asked for only one thing. Instead of gifts, she asked family and friends to help out orphaned animals at the humane society.

I must say that is a beautiful thing to do! She definitely picked up her kindness form her parents! Well I saw a website http://www.charitygiftcertificates.org and I was wondering who would use it! You can give a gift card with a donation to a person and they choose which organization it should go to! Now I know Special people out there would do it!

I loved this story. We need more kids like Kylee. What a breath of fresh air from the "gimme, gimme, gimme" that you hear from most children. Kylee is a role model and an inspiration!
