East Storm Impact Reaches Wichita

The worst snowstorm to hit the east coast in seven years continues to pound the region, and now it's impact is being felt in Kansas.

Doug Valerr was supposed to fly from Wichita to Boston today. Now he's re-booking another flight. "Supposed to leave today but it's not going to happen", Valerr said.

Andrea Huber needs to get back to Philadelphia. "Just trying to get back home but I guess I'll have a couple more days with friends", said Huber.

Getting out of Wichita to hub cities like Dallas, Atlanta and Chicago is no problem. But the problems develop when you try to catch a flight to the east coast. Airports in New York, Boston, Philadelphia and Washington closed today.

The flight schedule should be back to normal by Wednesday afternoon.
