If you live in Wichita, you won't get a chance to vote on the proposed DynaPlex downtown arena. The City Council removed the proposal from the August 6th ballot during its meeting this morning.
A sales tax increase would have paid for the arena. City Council members decided the timing was bad, since state lawmakers recently approved a sales tax hike.
DynaPlex supporters haven't given up on the arena. They say they will push to get it passed at a later date.
