A man is arrested, in connection with a deadly hit-and-run accident.
18-year Neil Riggs died early Sunday. Police say he was walking along the median on Kellogg near Bonnie Brae, when he was hit, from behind by a man police say was driving drunk.
The man's heavily damaged car was found in a parking lot about a mile away.
An eyewitness says the driver didn't even stop after hitting Riggs.
For Riggs family, learning about the accident was extremely difficult. His brother talked to KAKE News about the man accused of hitting Neil Riggs. Lindon Riggs says, "You feel sorry for him, because he has to live with that for the rest of his life. But on the other hand, it was my only brother."
Police don't know why Neil Riggs was walking along the median at that time of the accident.
They say he was at a friend's house earlier in the day.
The man who was arrested faces DUI, manslaughter, and hit and run charges.
