Woman's Body Found
A woman's body was discovered in Evergreen Park around 1 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
Police said the woman was half dressed, but there are no signs of trauma to the body. The body was found in a location near the Neighborhood City Hall.
Evergreen Park is near 25th and Arkansas in North Wichita, on the way home for many school children. Parents who live in the area can't believe their children could have stumbled upon the body.
Police are now trying to identify the woman. They are treating the death as suspicious. If it does turn out to be a murder, it will be the city's fourth in 2003.
