President Bush has vetoed the $300 billion farm bill, calling it a tax increase on regular Americans at a time of high food prices but record farm profits.

Bush says the bill is bloated -- giving away too much money to wealthy farmers at the expense of taxpayers who foot the bill for the subsidies.

He vetoed the bill Wednesday. It was the 10th veto of his presidency. The veto is likely to be overridden by Congress, which passed the bill with veto-proof majorities.

The GOP should make their election slogan "we didn't do it blame clinton".

Isn't it funny clinton has been out of office 8 years and it's still his fault for every thing. Why couldn't bush get anything done with republican control his first 6 years o I forgot he was to busy making enemy's around the world.

Yes several things left from the past president ecpecially in clintons last few days. If the death tax is not completly removed in 2010 if you die 55% of your worth goes to the goverment. Not your family. Senior citzens already paying 76% more on their social security thanks again to the clintons.
