Wichita's Big Dog Motorcycles today cut 20 people from its workforce.
In a statement, the company said the job cuts are in response to the current motorcycle and economic conditions. "We believe this decision was necessary, though extremely difficult", a portion of the statement read.

The layoff affects all areas of Big Dog's Operations. Big Dog has just over 200 employees in Wichita.

Big Dog plans to expand to Canada and other international markets in the future, and plans to introduce two new models later this year.
