Adams, Frances Willard and Jefferson Elementary Schools were broken into over the weekend.

Arkansas City Police said the schools suffered criminal damage. Damage estimates at Adams and Jefferson have not been made. Francis Willard suffered more than $1,000 in damage.

The office at Jefferson Elementary was not entered, despite evidence that the suspect or suspects attempted to do so.

Detectives collected numerous items of physical evidence at the scene of the burglaries.
