Your drive through East Wichita is changing again. The next phase of the Kellogg expansion project begins Monday. Crews will extend the six lane road from Oliver to Armour.
The work means big changes at Rusty Eck Ford. Workers will lose their workout area, while customers will see the showroom go away. But the car dealership believes it could be good for business. "People will be more apt to travel Kellogg because they can get somewhere quicker", said Janet Cervantes.
The company in charge of the construction met with area residents last night. Construction crews will build a retaining wall on the north side of Kellogg to cut down on the noise.
