August 18--If listening to graphic details about how
his family members were killed by B-T-K wasn't bad enough, Charlie
Otero got more bad news last night.
His 17-year-old son apparently was hit by a car in Wisconson
while riding his bicycle and is in critical condition. And Charlie
Otero -- who is in Wichita to attend the sentencing hearing for the
B-T-K serial killer -- doesn't have enough money to fly to
Wisconsin to be with his son.
Dennis Rader has confessed to being BTK, who killed ten people
between 1974 and 1991 -- including Charlie Otero's parents and two
of his siblings.
A local credit union has a BTK Victims Fund set up, and anyone
who wants to donate money to help Otero get to Wisconsin can donate
money there in his name.
