Victim Identified In Fatal Turnpike Accident

The Kansas Turnpike Authority has identified the driver who was killed Wednesday in east Wichita.
It happened when a semi was exiting the turnpike at Plaza 50, on the ramp to Kellogg. Troopers say the driver was going too fast on the ramp, and rolled the truck.
He has been identified as 52-year-old Abdikarem Mohamed Haile of St. Cloud, Minnesota.
No one else was hurt in the accident.

One person has been killed in an accident on the Kansas Turnpike in east Wichita.
The accident happened happened around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday near the Kellogg exit. One person was pinned in a semi truck that rolled over, and died on scene.
Traffic in the area is moving slowly. Ramps to the turnpike from Kellogg have been closed, as well as the northbound ramp from the turnpike to Kellogg.
KAKE's Jared Cerullo reports it could take several hours to clean up the scene and reopen the ramps.
