I dont know why these students have to go through what hey go through. Everyone can achieve life no matter what their sexual orientation. These students are so eager to speak out against the discrimination that a few high schools and colleges have joined together to try and show others that they are no different from anyone else. The group has come to be called Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) and it lets them talk about the problems they have with students harassing and I have become an active member of it just to support what each of these individuals can do in life. I am straight but many of my friends are gay or bi and I believe that the "golden rule" should be taken into consideration- Treat others the way you want to be treated. None of these kids deserve to live a life of being hated for their sexual preference. Let them live a normal life like we do.

I got to say, honestly, I believe that Jimmy didn't do anything, only because I'm his friend. But I think they should have investigated it more throughly. They are quick to exspell gay students for whatever reason...but when it comes down to a teacher committing a sexual offense...lets take our sweet time. Ask them about Ron Fliege Jr, who taught at John Marshall Middle School...he got fired last year because of having a relationship with an underage student...and they moved slower than molasses. What the heck!??!!

I used to go to school with Jimmy... He has it hard... I wish the best for him... I really want him to walk across that stage knowing that he has beat all these people who tried to pull him down... Your strong Jimmy ---- Your almost to the end --- just keep it up!!!

If he didn't actually harrass the other student in the bathroom, why did the district feel it was necessary to remove him from that particular school? It sounds to me like there was at least probable cause to remove him. Public school bathrooms are scary places. I wouldn't want to subject my child to having to use one.
