The Tallgrass Film Festival came to an end Sunday. But before the set was struck, aspiring high school film makers got their chance to light up the silver screen.

Dave Riff, 17, was the only high schooler from Wichita debuting a film in the event. Making movies has been a part of his life for over 5 years and is something he hopes to continue pursuing. Riff credits this film festival as a means to achieve his aspirations. He hopes to one day be a director. But right now Riff tells us he's taking one step at a time. He's still trying to get into film school.

The film festival ended Sunday night with a free show at the Fish House.
