The major flaw with Wild West World was that it was a glorified, permanently place carinval. I know this sounds like bashing, but all the rides I've seen there I could get at a county or state fair! For the money, it just wasn't worth my hard working hours! I would hardly call Wild West World an amusement park - there wasn't anything amusing about it! No main rollercoaster attraction to draw in the die-hard fans. I'm sorry, but Wild West World was a botched up job through an ill-planned but well concieved idea. Go to Worlds of Fun, Frontier City, Six Flags Great America, Six Flags Mid America, and Silver Dollar City and you'll see what I'm talking about...
Me and my family was so excited when it was annouced that the they were going to build a theme park here. I thought finally that someones going to invest into our our community and give our familys someting to call their own and be proud of.We thought WILD WEST WORLD was really nice place, our kids loved it. It had alot of potential to be something grand.It really really saddens me that the city wichita has NOOOOO entertainment value.They won't even try to save a icon like joyland.Why do we need a arena? I and every one i speak to say they would rather have a theme park than a useless arena.Someone please bring us a park!!!
wild west world was just a joke to Park City an to some of the workers that was going to make a career working in a amusement park.
