I love viral videos. This latest one to hit the web is not new, but it’s making the rounds on Facebook: How to make Mountain Dew glow.
The video gives you step-by-step instructions on how to make the soda glow by using Mountain Dew, baking soda and hydrogen peroxide.
But can you really make Mountain Dew glow in the dark?
Good question.
I could probably Google this and find out in a few seconds, but it’s much more fun to just try it ourselves.
Welcome to the KAKE kitchen. I have my hydrogen peroxide, my baking soda and my Mountain Dew. First, it says make sure the bottle is a quarter full. Next, add a small amount of baking soda. Then add 3 caps of peroxide. Finally, shake the bottle.
Can you really make a bottle of Mountain Dew glow with baking soda and peroxide? The answer is no.
