Valentine’s Day can sometimes be a man’s worst nightmare. One anonymous viewer wants to know, “Who can men blame for this holiday?” Good question.
We could blame Saint Valentine, but there were more than one.
The first Valentine’s Day in the United States began in the mid-1800s. Since then, the business has boomed to become the second biggest card-sending day of the year, right behind Christmas. On average, men spend twice as much as women on Valentine’s Day.
Who is to blame? Not sure, but the best way to avoid the pressure is to simply stay single.
