Before you head out the door, we like to catch you up with what happened while you were sleeping.
The rain that moved through the Wichita area early Thursday may have played a role in a couple of car accidents in the city.
That rain is blamed for a crash along Kellogg in west Wichita about 3:40 a.m. Emergency dispatchers say a westbound car hydroplaned before crashing. The driver was not hurt.
An earlier accident affected Kellogg traffic on the east side of Wichita.
Dispatchers say a westbound car went out of control near Hillside, hit the concrete barrier in the median and then flipped. The driver of that car was taken to Wesley Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
