Just before midnight on Monday, officers responded to the call of a burglary near 21st St. and Grove. The suspect took off in a car and crashed at the corner of 20th St. and Madison. There was a very short foot-chase, and officers took the suspect into custody without incident.

Wichita Police responded to another single car accident, this one in southwest Wichita at about 12:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Officers found a woman who lost control and drove off the road crashing into a tree near S. Glenn and W. Webster. She had minor injuries and was taken to Via Christi St. Francis.

Police are investigating if alcohol played a role in the crash.
