The US Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling Kidgets Animal Sock Top Slippers.
The animal's eye can detach from the slippers, posing a choking hazard to young children.
The recalled slippers have brown or tan dog faces, yellow duck faces and tan lion faces.
About 160,000 slippers were sold at Family Dollar stores nationwide in September and October of this year. They sold for about $5 each.
