WASHINGTON - High chairs for babies sometimes bring the risk of big falls. One such risk has led to a recall by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
The recall involves Dream On Me Dinah high chairs. The leg or side opening of the chair can allow a child's body to pass through and become entrapped at the neck, causing a risk of strangulation. The child could fall from the chair as well.
The chair has a white plastic tray, plastic footrest and a white fabric five-point adjustable safety strap. They were sold between November 2012 and November 2013 for about $60.
