The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall for some common over-the-counter medications.
The packaging used in Triaminic and Theraflu Warming Relief syrups has been found to be potentially dangerous.
Officials say the products' child-resistant caps are defective and can be removed by a child, posing a risk of ingestion and poisoning.
These products contain acetaminophen and diphen hydramine, which are required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act to be sealed with child-resistant packaging.
Customers who have these products are urged to return them for a full refund.
