Power went out in the middle of the night for hundreds of people in various parts of Wichita
The lights flickered and went off around 3:35 a.m. Westar Energy estimates about 760 customers lost electricity.
Power restoration began after 6:30 a.m., and as of 8:20 a.m. only about 35 customers remained in the dark. But there was a short impact on downtown rush hour driving, as traffic lights were reported out at Central and Market.
A Westar spokesman told KAKE News at 6:00 a.m. the cause of the outage has not been determined.
