A man in his 20s is in a Wichita hospital after he was stabbed twice following an argument early Wednesday, police say.
Wichita Police Lt. Jeff Gilmore says officers were called to the 200 block of South Green, near Douglas and Grove, about 2:45 a.m. Officers found the victim in the street with two stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
People who live in the neighborhood tell police the victim and another man were fighting before the stabbing. That fight began in a house and then moved to the street, Gilmore says.
Police are still trying to identify the suspect. Gilmore says officers were at the hospital interviewing the victim.
