Man Expected To Recover After Bar Shooting

Wichita police are searching for suspects after a shooting outside a southeast Wichita bar.

It happened at the One Place Bar, 4859 E. Harry, around 2 a.m.

Police said someone called 911 to report hearing gunshots. The witness said several people in the parking lot were trying to hold the victim down in the parking lot, trying to get a weapon from him.

A 29-year-old man was taken to a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound to his chest. He is expected to recover.

No arrests have been made.

One man is in critical condition in a Wichita hospital after an early morning shooting in southeast Wichita.

It happened just before 2:00 in the 4800 block of E. Harry, just east of Harry and Oliver.

The man was shot in the chest and taken to a local hospital.
