Shots Hit Home, Car In North Wichita

Police are searching for the person who fired ten shots near a home in North Wichita. Officers were called to the 2600 block of North Erie at 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

A 32-year-old man said he returned home after spending the evening with his son. A tan Mercedes Benz pulled up. The man exchanged words with people inside the car.

Someone inside the car started shooting, hitting a nearby car and home. A 38-year-old woman and two children were asleep inside the home. No one was hurt.
