Shots Fired Wednesday Evening In East Wichita

Wichita Police are investigating after shoots were fired near Lincoln and Governeour Wednesday night.

It happened around 9:15 in the 7100 block of E. Castle.

A woman saw a car pull up to her home and two men run away from the vehicle. She told police when she went out to investigate she saw numerous bullet holes in the car.

The car's owner told police she had loaned the car to her boyfriend. Police also found 14 large caliber shell casings in the street.

It's not known if either of the two men were hurt in the incident and neither man has been located.
