WICHITA, Kan. -- A woman remains hospitalized in critical condition following a shooting at a southeast Wichita home.

Wichita Police Lt. Todd Ojile said that three black males in their late teens or early 20s came to the front door of the home in the 1000 block of South Eastern around 11 p.m. Saturday. When someone answered the door, the men pushed their way inside.

A 25-year-old woman walked into the room and was shot. The suspects left in an unknown color car.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital suffering from gunshot wounds to her chest and leg. She's currently listed in critical but stable condition.

Others were inside the home at the time, including a 16-year-old girl, 18-year-old woman and 2 21-year-old men. Police said three of them are siblings of the victim and the other is her boyfriend.

Lt. Ojile said the motive was attempted robbery of a drug house. He says evidence at the scene showed drugs were being prepared for sale at the home.
No arrests have been made.
