WICHITA, Kan. — Police are looking for a suspect they believe robbed the same convenience store twice in a matter of weeks.
Just after 10:30 p.m. Thursday, an employee of a convenience store and gas station at 2199 N. Woodlawn called police saying the business had just been robbed.
When officers arrived, she told them it was the same man who robbed the store weeks before. She said he came in with a gun that she believed was a toy, and handed her a brown Dillons plastic bag to put money into. Once he had the cash, he ran from the store.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 40s, about 5-feet, 2-inches tall and 200 pounds. He was wearing a blue hoodie, black sweatpants, black cotton gloves and black sunglasses.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
