BARTON COUNTY, Kan. -- A woman suspected of committing burglaries in three states has been arrested in Kansas.
The Barton County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy observed a vehicle at various locations during his patrol early Sunday morning.
The deputy pulled her over after she entered the parking lot of a business near Ellinwood. She gave false identification, but she was later identified as 24-year-old Leticia Chacon of Dodge City.
Chacon was in possession of several IDs and other property, the sheriff’s office said.
According to authorities in Ford County, she is wanted in connection to burglaries in Missouri, Nebraska and Kansas.
Chacon was arrested and is being held in the Barton County Jail on a $30,000 bond.
