WICHITA, Kan. -- Police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a south Wichita pharmacy of prescription drugs Saturday evening.

Sgt Scott Brunow said the suspect walked into the Walgreens in the 3100 block of South Seneca around 7 p.m. and handed an employee a note demanding prescription drugs. He then showed a handgun he had tucked in his waistband.

The suspect was given undisclosed types and amounts of medication and was last seen leaving the business on foot. No injuries were reported.

Brunow said there was evidence he may have gotten into a car on 30th Street, but no vehicle was seen.

The suspect is described as a clean-shaven white male of unknown age, standing around 6-foot to 6-foot-2, wearing black-framed glasses, a puffy purple and black North Face coat, blue windbreaker pants, a black scarf, and a red beanie with a white snowflake pattern.
