A Kansas woman must repay thousands of dollars after being found guilty of Medicaid fraud.
on Friday, 49-year-old Penny Miller of Lawrence pleaded no contest to one count of making a false claim to the Medicaid program.
She was accused to billing for home health care services during a time when the beneficiary was hospitalized. The crime occurred from January 2009 to December 2011.
As part of the plea, Miller must pay restitution in the amount of $11,128.71 to the Kansas Medicaid program.
She's scheduled to be sentenced on August 1.
