Home invasion suspects hurt woman, point gun at kids

WICHITA, Kan. -- Police are looking for three people who allegedly hurt a Wichita woman and pulled a gun on six children during a home invasion.

It happened just before 6:30 Friday morning in the 1000 block of North Minnesota, which is just east of I-135 off of 9th Street.

Police say the three suspects forced their way into the home and hit the woman with a pistol before pointing it at six children in the home.

The 41-year-old mother suffered minor injuries, and none of the kids were hurt.

It’s wasn't immediately known what the suspects stole. Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers at (316) 267-2111.
