Deputies seize more than 1,500 marijuana plants; 2 arrested

EUREKA, Kan. — Two people are in custody and more than1,500 marijuana plants have been seized in Greenwood County.

Tuesday morning, the Greenwood County Sheriff's Office took down a large grow operation in an area field. They seized 1,715 plants.

Two people were arrested.

The Greenwood County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, Kansas Wildlife and Parks, Greenwood County EMS and a Kansas Highway Patrol helicopter.
