LARCENY in the 2000 block South Poplar - July 1, 1:45 p.m.:
Victim reports unknown person stole her two Shih Tzu dogs (boy and girl) from her yard.

THREAT in the 8500 block of East 44th St. N. - July 1, 1:27 p.m.:
Reporting person heard from neighbor that another neighbor had made a statement that he was going to put poison in a hotdog and give it to her dog.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT in the 4400 block of E. Central - July 1, 2:30 p.m.:
Witness reported that suspect set another person's shoes on fire. Victim left before officer's arrival.

DESTRUCTION TO AUTO in the 1700 block E. Macarthur - July 1, 3:01 p.m.:
Reporting party sees suspect attempting to cut a catalytic converter out of vehicle. Suspect fled when he realized he had been seen.

LARCENY FROM BUILDING in the 700 block N. Ridge - July 1, 3:45 p.m.:
Reporting party sees suspect entering the open, occupied business, sneaking into the back office, prying open the back door and taking lottery tickets. Suspect returned during later shift to cash in the winning tickets.
