WICHITA, Kan. — Two men are in custody and three pounds of meth have been seized following a tip to Crime Stoppers of Wichita/Sedgwick County.
In April, Crime Stoppers received a phone tip about suspicious activity at a mobile home in the 3200 block of South Clifton. The caller reported heavy traffic around the mobile home with numerous people entering and leaving at all hours.
Wichita police began an investigation that recently led to the arrest of two men on drug trafficking charges. Officers also confiscated three pounds of meth, with a street value of approximately $36,000.
“This case represents another success for Crime Stoppers,” said Wichita Crime Commission executive director Gordon Bassham. “It’s neighbors getting involved like this that go a long way toward making Wichita a safer and more secure community.”
